Prenatal / Postpartum Fitness Training
If you’ve ever run a marathon, you know it requires some serious training…and a specific training approach. Getting your body ready for the exact challenges involved is key for any physically stressful activity.
So why would you treat childbirth differently?
Pregnancy is a journey that requires major preparation due to the demands placed on the body during that time. Childbirth is no small feat, but most Pre/Postnatal programs only focus on low-intensity exercise. This simple movement is great for cardiorespiratory and muscular fitness, but doesn’t provide specific preparation for the high-stress event of labor.
