Summer offers a time full of friendships, fun and everlasting memories. What better way to experience this than the Bloomsburg Area YMCA Summer Day Camp? The YMCA Summer Camp is designed to meet the summertimeneeds of children, working parents and families. Our staff emphasizes emotional growth, character development, and physical activities as well as building the selfconfidence all Y kids deserve. With the assistance of a craing and well trained staff, the YMCA provides each camper with that memorable summertime experience that helps build a healthy spirit, mind and body.

The YMCA invites all children ages 5 (must have completed kindergarten) through 12 to join our summer camp program. Campers will participate in games, crafts, sports, enjoy speakers and field trips. The Y's stimulating weekly themes will keep campers wishing for more.

Daily lunches will be provided. More information is available in the registration packets. The YMCA is in the process of implementing a PEANUT FREE policy. We hope that parents will work with us in providing a secure environment for all our children, by readin labels and learning about the growing importance of the peanut allergy.

The YMCA Summer Day Camp is located at the Bloomsburg Area YMCA from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Fantastic Staff

The YMCA Summer Day Camp staff will provide a safe environment with planned activities that are exciting and age appropriate. Counselors are selected based on their educational skills, maturity, creativity and sensitivity to the needs of campers. All counselors have clean background checks, so that all parents can rest assured that the Bloomsburg Area YMCA Counsleors are caring an positive role models.

• Emergency Action Plans

Extended Care ~ children may be driopped off no earlier than 6:30 AM and picked up no later than 5:30 PM. A late pick up charge of $5.00 for evey 15 minutes late will be applied.
